Adrian Grenier might want to change his name to Adrian Greenier. Or better yet, we should come up with a title, an American version of knighting someone – minus the sword and the queen, of course — as a way of publicly recognizing them for their green efforts.
The Entourage star would certainly be a good pick for green knighthood.
First, Sir Adrian got tons of press for his environmentally responsible house in Brooklyn, which lavishly featured everything from a solar roof to the denim-insulated walls. Then he showed up at screenings of The 11th Hour, where it seems he met and attempted to partner-in-green with Paris Hilton (no word on how that’s working out), and now he’s turning into the eco-Ty Pennington.
Adrian is about to close on a new L.A. home that he plans to eco-convert as part of his new Planet Green show, The Green Life. According to Ecorazzi, the show will feature environmental design experts in their efforts to help educate and greenovate everything from homes to dorms to movie sets.
The show, which Sir Adrian is expected to produce and appear on, is slated to premiere next summer. Hopefully by then I will have figured out a better name for green knights.
