While Alyssa Milano doesn’t eat animals, she evidently does wear salad. (As opposed to other people who wear animals and eat salad.)
The sexy actress has donated herself to PETA’s Let Vegetarianism Grow On You campaign, which urges people to stop eating meat. Posed on the cover of the organization’s European magazine Animal Times, Alyssa wears an organic ensemble of lettuce, asparagus and cabbage leaves. The floor length frock was created by L.A.-based costume designer Mia Gyzander.
It’s an interesting look, but I’m guessing not as big of a crowd pleaser as PETA’s naked celebrity campaigns. I suspect the animal loving actress turned sportswear designer also eschews animal products in her wardrobe, so maybe we can look forward to seeing her go naked rather than wearing fur. (Hint hint.)
“The world has so much suffering in it already,” says Alyssa (via PETA UK), “Choosing to be vegetarian is one thing you can do to reduce the suffering on a daily basis.”
If an additional perk is looking as good as Alyssa, sign me up!
