I’m obviously not getting enough sleep. How do I know this? Well, apart from the bags under my eyes and a generally grumpy demeanor, I seem to be preoccupied with sheets and bedding.
Not just any old kind though. My subconscious has much better taste than that. I prefer organic. And not just for aesthetic reasons. The EPA cites that “indoor air is three times more polluted than outdoor air… considered to be one of the top five hazards to human health”. Contributing factors include toxic paints, fabrics, carpets and textiles.
So, back to bed…
For those of you who prefer to lay your heads on something other than a petroleum byproduct, check out luxury organic home company Anna Sova. I’m an admirer of their Sensuale luxury linens, which boast a decadent and J.Lo worthy 600 thread count. Grown in the US using 100% organic pima cotton, milled in Switzerland and manufactured in Italy, these sheets are better traveled than most Americans. Or if that’s a little out of your price range, how about the modern Bella Pura range? The 325 thread count will see you counting sheep in no time, and the 100% SKAL certified organic cotton comes in 12 delicious colors to keep your boudoir fresh.
There’s other stuff, too — like thick organic cotton 900 GSM Turkish towels, organic cotton Belgian weave blankets as well as candles and bath products.
Think of Anna Sova as a one-stop organic, luxury Bed, Bath and Beyond. Wow, that has a nice ring to it. Someone should trademark that.
