Fiat Siena Ugly But Adaptive | Quad Fuel Vehicle

First we had the choice of regular, premium, supreme or diesel. And generally the decision was an easy one, since most cars are built with a decided preference.

But now there’s the Fiat Siena Tetrafuel, which gives us the option of running on four completely different types of fuel. According to Italiaspeed, this vehicle has struck gold in the Brazilian market, being introduced with the capability to fill its 1.4 liter engine with either moisturized alcohol, pure gasoline, natural gas, or Brazilian gasoline (which is made up of alcohol, pure gasoline and natural gas).

In the U.S. and Europe, having a “flex-fuel vehicle” simply means it has the capability of accepting pure gasoline or E85 into its tank. The Fiat Siena rocks this concept to a more compelling level with its ability to handle four different types of fuels simultaneously. Italiaspeed elaborates, saying “the great technological innovation of the model is the fact that a single electronic control unit which was developed by Magneti Marelli manages the use of fuels in a seamlessly integrated manner, changing the fuel required without any interference or input from the driver.”

Looks like the bikini wax isn’t the only intriguing innovation to come from Brazil. Now, if we could just do something about the banana hammock.
