Looking for a way to save space in your small apartment? Want to change the way you think about your daily cleansing ritual? Check out this super-compact bathroom from Yanko Design.
Designed by Isabelle Hauser, the bathroom is the size of a small armoire. There are parts that fold out so that you can either shower or soak in what looks like a super-compact tub, and the toilet is integrated into the shower “cabin” so you can accomplish some privacy when the time comes.
At first glance, this thing appears to be designed more for an airplane (in fact it is called the “Flight Concept”) or cruise ship than something I’d want as my everyday bathing center, but in compact spaces it would certainly serve its purpose.
I was unable to find any info about either price or water consumption –- 2 things that would make squeezing down my bathroom use more palatable if the Flight lightens my impact.
But if all you’re looking for is an all-in-one, self-contained bathing unit, this appears to be the only one out there. Lather up!
