Normally G Living wouldn’t touch this story with a 10 foot carrot! But for some reason, tons of people are searching for Shanna Moakler and finding G Living. Googlers are finding our story about Shanna going Vegan after reading Skinny Bitch! So, we thought we should shine a G / Light on this G/Woman. It’s the least we can do!

Who is Shanna and why are people searching for her? Well, it turns out this former Miss USA / Playboy Centerfold was working for the Miss California Pageant as the Co-Executive Director. That is until a few hours ago. She has just quit in protest! Oh no, is what your saying right! What is the big deal, who cares? We don’t really know who cares, but here is why she quit.

She is mad at the Donald! Yes, Donald Trump, the YOUR FIRED, Mega Combover Guy Super Hero. He owns the pageant and will not de-crown Miss California, the anti-gay air head Carrie Prejean. At a news conference on Monday, Moakler accused Prejean of violating her contract with the Miss California Pageant and said she should lose the crown. Moakler thinks because Prejean broke the rules and lied about posing nude, amongst other things, she should no longer be Miss California.

The current Miss California, the anti-g woman, is all over the news because, in the last Miss USA pageant, she answered a question from Perez Hilton, who was one of the judges (how funny is that). His question was about legalizing gay marriage, which is a shocker, coming from Perez the super queen. The up roar started as soon as Carrie Prejean opened her mouth. “I think it’s great that Americans are able to choose one or the other. We live in a land where you can choose same-sex marriage or opposite marriage,” Prejean said. “And you know what? I think in my country, in my family, I think that I believe that a marriage should be between a man and a woman. No offense to anybody out there, but that’s how I was raised.”

It all came to a goofy conclusion at a press conference where the Donald, said, Prejean, was just too good looking to fire. “Look at how beautiful she is” he said. Then on Monday, Shanna quit!

Shanna Moakler said “I cannot with a clear conscience move forward supporting and promoting the Miss Universe Organization when I no longer believe in it or the contracts I signed committing myself as a youth,” she said in a statement issued by her publicist. “I want to be a role model for young women with high hopes of pageantry, but now feel it more important to be a role model for my children.”

Okay, internet googlers you are all caught up on what is happening with our own Very Beautiful G / Woman Shanna Moakler! Do you feel fulfilled? You go girl! All of these super christians, who are really just fake, drive me crazy. This woman is clearly just vain and insecure and Donald Trump is just a sleazy old guy hot for young and dumb girls.

I was watching the Rachel Maddow show last night and she had a segment about Carrie Prejean and showed a clip of her saying people are not born gay, they learn to be gay. So, it's not natural and they shouldn't be allowed to marry. Also, she loves to say President Obama feels the same way.

I think everyone is entitled to an opinion and the hypocrites are the ones who are making such a big deal about a beauty pageant giving hers. All of this has been blown way out of proportion. And, didn't Ms. Moakler pose for Playboy?? That is supposed to be role modeling??

Everyone's entitled to their opinion, but they're also entitled to the fallout that expression of that opinion brings. Freedom of speech as constitutionally defined means freedom from government intervention, not from the repercussions of one's statements. If I call women names, they're not obliged to just sit there and take it because I'm "entitled to my opinion". Similarly, Carrie Prejean has insulted a large group of people and broken the rules of a competition. We have the right to express our disagreement (and the opinion that she should shut up), and the pageant has the right to revoke her award if it is found that she broke the rules.

It's been blown out of proportion by Ms. Prejean, who entered a contest under false pretenses, used the situation to make an inflammatory statement, and ran running to national TV whining about how she was "being oppressed" when told that she would have to lie in the figurative bed she had made.

Finally, Ms. Moakler did not sign a contract stating that her participation in a competition was contingent upon her not having posed nude. Prejean did. That's the distinction.

Hilton acted poorly (when doesn't he?), but the question was valid, as is the response to her answer.

G Living would have been right not to touch this story with a 10-foot pole. Shanna Moakler is hardly someone people look to as a role model, green or otherwise (maybe do a little more research next time and find her history of classless behavior, and not just referring to Playboy.)
