America don’t you want to know why the world economy is tanking? Who did, who gained, who let it happen, who should pay, and how are we going to fix this mess. Does anyone really believe we will ever find out the real answers to any of those questions? Not if the truth finder is going to be the Justice Department? But don’t worry, here comes Michael Moore to the rescue! New York Times reveals today Michael is looking for a few Wall Street insiders to spill their guts on camera for his new film.

Michael Moore Request:

“Will you help me with my next film?”, he asked in a post that appeared this week on his Web site and in a message to his e-mail list.

Mr. Moore went on to say:

I am in the middle of shooting my next movie and I am looking for a few brave people who work on Wall Street or in the financial industry to come forward and share with me what they know. Based on those who have already contacted me, I believe there are a number of you who know “the real deal” about the abuses that have been happening. You have information that the American people need to hear.

All correspondence will be kept confidential, he wrote, adding that a “few good people have already come forward.”

Last May, while the Cannes Film Festival was in full swing, Mr. Moore announced that Overture Films and Paramount Vintage would be co-financing his next movie, which a press release described as a “searing and provocative follow-up” to Fahrenheit 9/11. That’s the 2004 documentary that piled harsh criticism on President Bush and the war in Iraq.
