The Academy also took it’s new green facelift into the kitchen, serving organic food. It looks like they emptied out a nearby Whole Foods for the event. It’s a great start! Hopefully next year it will be a lot more plant based as well and more G.
“Even the Governors’ Ball, the big gala after the ceremony, featured organic and environmentally friendly food, including a large chocolate Oscar, the council said on its website.
Organic food and dishes from humanely treated animals will also be on offer at the bash, which includes a 28,000 square foot ballroom, three stages and huge bars.”
