Faridah Namawa is 49 years old. She is the leader of Kisimba group in Lugazi. She is a devoted and hard-working lady. She has had a clothing store for 20 years in the Najja trading centre. She is married with seven children. Two of her children are graduates while five are still in school. She cares for twelve dependents, though she does not stay with all of them.
Faridah has been successful in business because of her networking tricks and good customer care. She makes sure that she knows what is available at the market and ensures that her customers get the best outfits. She needs a loan to help restock her shop with more clothes.
About Group Loans
In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a group of individuals bound by a group guarantee. Under this arrangement, each member of the group supports one another and is responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members if someone is delinquent or defaults.
