Puma Glow Bike, You Can Leave Your Blinky Light At Home

I am getting pretty big into bikes, since I am preparing to escape L.A. and land in Portland Oregon. For those of you who don’t know, people from Portland are born with bike pedals glued to their feet. I know that sounds odd, but it has something to do with the water.

I also hear people from L.A. are not that welcomed up there, even if your blood does run green. This means, I need to be extra extra green. No more SUV driving, no more walking, no more running. From this point one, its all about being seen on a bike. I will bike to the store, to mail box, going out to eat, swimming, hiking, for everything. I will even replace my office chair, with a bike. To that end, I just found this completely original bike from PUMA. It’s called the Glow Rider Bike.

Possessing the quintessential PUMA characteristics of fun and functionality, the new model distinguishes itself through the unique glow in the dark frame. The bike is part of PUMA Urban Mobility, a collection created with the needs of a city dweller in mind, comprising apparel, accessories and footwear.

The night glow effect paint used on the steel frame of the bike collects the sunrays during the day, and gives this light off when darkness has fallen, in the form of a beautiful glow, lasting for several hours. Remember those night glow stars on your bedroom ceiling when you were small?

With this quirky glowing frame, which asserts higher visibility by night and a unique outer appearance, urban commuters can express their personal style and feel safe at the same time.
This PUMA Bike is a single gear bike, ideal for city riding. The head and backlights, which come as standard on this edition, help shed additional light in the darkness of the city.

Additional features of the bike are its characteristic chunky tires, and a quick, easy and smart semi-folding mechanism, for maximum convenience. This easy-folding design makes the bike a perfect travel companion and allows commuters easy access in and out of public transport, cars or elevators. This unique element provides all the benefits of a folding bike, without compromising on style.
Twin-disc breaks stop you before something else does, providing the ultimate breaking power in stop-and-go city traffic. The PUMA Bike is also equipped with the integrated wire lock system, which is virtually thief-proof. If stolen and rode without the wire, the loyal bike will auto-destruct.
The PUMA GLOW RIDER is available in two signal color options; buttermilk (glows in green) and orange (glows in orange).

To further ensure a unique look for the rider, the PUMA Bike comes with a matching courier bag, a wind and water resistant jacket as well as a tee. The express courier bag comes with a flap made of 3M material, which features a reflective pattern when hit by a light such as a car headlight.

check out bike after dark! they have wheel lights that you put on your spokes and they light up the wheels.  it would look pretty bomb with these bikes.
