Lashes Even A Monkie Might Pass On, The Not “G” Super Eyelashes
Madonna is still a material girl after all, People Magazine writes, when they covered her Very “Un-G” custom fake eyelashes made from mink fur and diamonds. No we are not joking, this is a new trend coming to us from the trendy makeup company Tokyo Lash Bar and the makeup artist Shu Uemura’s.
People Magazine goes on to say the Not So Material girls can opt for the synthetic fiber and crystals version. I think this is pretty good advice even for the not so soaked in money types. A single pair of the mink eyelashes cost a whopping $10,000 plus they are only good for 5 to 7 times.
Even the green minded Oprah Winfrey seems to be hitting the mink eyelash trend according to New York Times “ Oprah Winfrey makeup artist Reggie Wells, ordered 200 pairs after he heard about Madonna, said Peter Malachi, assistant vice president for Shu Uemura public relations.”
