The Americana | What Every Kitchen Wants To Be When It Grows Up

That the Italians know a thing or two about design is an understatement. After all, this is the nation that brought us Alessi, Prada and Ferrari. Italy is also at the forefront of gastronomic world. Where would we be without grilled eggplant, mushroom risotto and frothy soy cappuccinos? Not bulging out of our Prada pencil skirts probably, but that’s by the bye. Given the country’s two great loves, it comes as no surprise that the Italians have created the perfect kitchen…apparently just for us.
The Americana is what every kitchen wants to be when it grows up. Inspired by the natural landscape of Tuscany, its feminine soft curves give the kitchen an organic roundness, while brushed steel tops portray a more masculine functionality. Made to exacting standards by sought-after design company, Giemmegi, the kitchens come in a variety of finishes: black and chrome for an über slick bachelor pad, white and chrome for female of discernment and yellow, wood and chrome for the feel-good Brady bunch clan.
Of course, the kitchen is built according to “environmentally-friendly processes that ensure the end product is… totally free of any harmful elements” — otherwise we wouldn’t be covering it, right?
If you’re looking for a kitchen upgrade that’s modern and modular with a retro twist, consider the Americana. It would be unpatriotic not to.
