Will your grandchildren be able to cook? Owners of luxurious green Valcucine kitchens will certainly be hoping so. Italian kitchen design company, Valcucine, effortlessly merges high-end aesthetics and environmental wherewithal to create a product that is both beautiful while “spanning generations”.
The company’s headquarters sits just outside of Trieste and is “surrounded by nature”. This appreciation for the natural world manifests itself in the company’s design philosophy. The Artematica Vitrum is an attractive kitchen — clean simple lines and daring dash of yellow. What’s more, its lightweight aluminum structure can be recycled. The super funky, red white and blue Artematica Synthesis boasts ecologically designed worktops made of “Cristalite”, an old Roman technology that uses silver ions to provide antibacterial properties. The Artematic Cerasus boasts layers of horizontal wood and steel, varnished with toxin free natural oils and waxes. It’s newest kitchen, which debuted at the ICFF earlier this year is even greener, replacing “stainless steel and wood with glass while maintaining the idea that you (and your kids, and maybe even your grandkids) won’t have to buy another kitchen. Ever”.
Longevity is a key component to consider when buying a green kitchen. And with designs as desirable as Valcucine’s you would be crazy to cook in any thing else.
